Review: Special K Fruit Crisps Strawberry

I was debating doing an entire blog on my quest to find snacks and in general food that is low in calorie and taste good but I'm not really good with keeping up with more than one blog.  So I'll just do mini reviews on this blog.   My review today is the Special K Fruit Crisps.  Since I've changed my eating habits I've tried to stay clear of processed foods, but I have strong craving for snack type foods like cookies, CAKE (i love cake), ice cream, pretty much anything unhealthy.  After multiple trips to the store I found the fruit crisps, I was considering pop tarts until I saw the calorie count 200+ for ONE pop tart.  200 may not seem bad but I try to keep my snacks low in calories.  I generally snack on carrots and apples but I always get my late night snack food craving.

I would have to say I really like the fruit crisp.  They are similar to pop tarts but without the thick frosting.  One packet is 100 calories and it stopped my craving.  I would recommend them for people looking for an alternative to pop tarts.  At 100 calories you can't go wrong...well unless you eat more than one packet at once.  But you do get to crisps in one packet so they make it seem like you had a nice sized snack.
