So I decided this week to try to make a few changes in my life, starting with the blog layout...but only because Blogger added the blog template thing and I want to try it out :) but anyway...
First I will start eating health, I went to the store and bought fruits and veggies. I will also get back into exercising. I want to be at my best, plus I'm so tired of being sleepy and just lazy all the time. Which I contribute to my diet of Chilsung cider (Korean version of Sprite) and noodles. I also bought some vitamins so my body will finally get some things it's been missing.
Secondly I created an art blog, I will use it to update everyone on my new art and about artist that inspire, works of art that inspire me, artist that don't inspire me, and just random "musings" about my life as an artist. Complete with product reviews and other artsy type things. So check out, Musings of an Uninspired Artist and follow it for witty commentary on the art world as I see it ;)
Thirdly, Matt and I have scheduled the interview for his visa (July 9th). I have decided that going into the army for graphic design is my best option. The main reason is because to get a job in the art world you need graphic design training and I have very little. Plus I will get the training and education for free. Being in the military doesn't bother me. I find it all a bit easy. So I'm working on getting down to required weight for that and training to be able to run at least 2 miles.
Lastly, I have decided to try my best enjoy my time in Korea.
Also, for any of my friends back in the states I want to plan on Welcome back/Welcome to America/Reception party for Matt and I. I will have two, one for friends in Macon and one for family in my hometown. So be on the lookout for that in October.
7 ramblings:
can't wait for the reception! and i love that you've created a new blog! cheers to your renewal and change!
Good luck with the training.
The new template looks good...
Good luck with your upcoming plans.
Hi, changes afoot! how is your application going to the military? glad to see you are doing some artwork too!
Hi Kourt,
I am passing on an award to you. Please see my blogs for detail.
@Clare I haven't applied yet, I want to be at the required weight, otherwise they won't really talk to you. Plus I want to wait until I get back to the states to start working with a recruiter because I'm not sure if I'll be in Georgia or Oklahoma.
@kimvan...thanks so much for the award :)
interesting blog, good to see someone challenging themselves with new experiences. Good luck with the weight loss and the application to the army.
